The Ancient Spanish Monastery is one of Miami’s most beautiful and evocative locations. We invite you to a special retreat there on December 10th from 6-8pm.
What does it mean to find dignity and clarity in these fractured times? How do we respond? What can we do? These questions call to us.
Places of refuge are crucial for gaining our footing and being able to listen deeply to what we are feeling.
All are invited to come and to pray, meditate, and worship in this 12th-century cloister where monks prayed continuously for 700 years. www.spanishmonastery.com/history
This evening will be curated by Kate Eaton of Mishkhah and co-led by spiritual director, John Tidy, and Dr. Jill Baker, middle eastern studies specialist. Musicians who play instruments from around the world will be present to provide the music.
This is a special opportunity to immerse ourselves in the beauty of peaceful holiness, and all are welcome, of whatever faith or none. Register here: https://bit.ly/49eVvts or call 786-535-5433.
